For parents, weaning to toddlerhood

Know what's still
missing from today's plate.

Log breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner by text. We break each meal into the protein, iron and vitamins your baby actually got, and suggest what to feed next if the day falls short of the plan.

Why we built this

Meal charts look great on paper.

Most days don't go to plan — naps run long, someone refuses the spinach, and by dinner it's hard to know what actually got eaten. Little Bites tracks the real day, not the ideal one, and helps you catch up before bedtime.

🍽️

Log the real meal

Type what was eaten — no manual nutrient lookup, no food diary spreadsheets.

🎯

Targets that fit your baby

Protein, iron, calcium and vitamin goals scale to your baby's age and weight, not a generic chart.

💡

Catch up, don't restart

If the day's meals leave a gap, we suggest 2–3 realistic foods for the next feed — not a whole new plan.

Iron

Why iron matters most in the second half of year one

Birth stores start running low around 6 months — here's what that means for daily meals.

Fussy eating

5 finger foods for the toddler who refuses everything green

Small swaps that keep nutrients up without turning dinner into a negotiation.

Protein

How much protein does a one-year-old actually need?

Less than most charts imply — and it scales with your child's own weight, not a chart average.

Targets are approximated from ICMR‑NIN Recommended Dietary Allowances (2020) for Indian infants/toddlers, scaled to your baby's weight where the guideline is weight-based (protein, energy). This is general guidance, not medical advice — confirm with your pediatrician, especially for iron, allergens and portion sizes. Meal-to-nutrient mapping and suggestions use AI estimation; if that's temporarily unavailable, a simpler keyword-based estimate is used instead.
